Tile weight can be up to 1,000 pounds per square for either concrete or clay, weight depends on the tile you choose. Tile suppliers also have lightweight options available for both concrete and clay tiles. Which significantly cut down the weight per square by 35-40% around 400 lbs. Which make it possible to add this beautiful roof on your home without breaking the bank.

Not made for all slopes

Tile roofs should only be installed on roofs with a minimum slope of 4/12 in order to prevent the shed of water into roof. With a higher slope you’ll really get to see the curb appeal Tile adds to your home.
